LAMBDA LEGAL

"Lambda Legal, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, is a national organization committed to achieving full recognition of the civil rights of lesbians, gay men, bisexuals, transgender people, and everyone living with HIV through impact litigation, education and public policy work."

Lambda Legal has filed a lawsuit challenging the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services published rule that serves to exclude transgender and other LGBTQ+ people from the Affordable Care Act section 1557 protections against sex discrimination in matters of healthcare and certain health programs and activities. Lambda legal runs off of donations and volunteers. If you can find it within yourself to volunteer or donate to their cause, do so via the links above.
